Previously, he served as a profit center manager of excess construction at a leading commercial lines insurer.

Layla Greytok is the Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer at Berkley Construction Solutions. She has over 35 years of underwriting, loss control and wholesale brokerage experience specializing in excess liability & construction risks. Most recently she served as underwriting director for primary and excess construction at a leading commercial lines insurer. She was named one of the Elite Women in Insurance by Insurance Business America and has held several non-profit board positions, including President of Casualty Underwriters of Philadelphia.

Kristin Applegate

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Kristin Applegate is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Berkley Construction Solutions and is dedicated to combining the latest technology with her decades of expertise to advance Underwriting into the future. Prior to joining BCS, Kristin spent 22 years with a global insurance and investment organization and operated in a variety of capacities including Chief Administration Officer. Named one of the Elite Women in Insurance by Insurance Business America, Kristin is a frequent speaker at insurance industry conferences including IASA, Women in Insurance Leadership and InsurTech NY.

Miles Henderson

VICE PRESIDENT

Miles Henderson is Vice President and Chief Claims Officer at Berkley Construction Solutions and heads the claims department for wholesale only, excess insurance facility for commercial and residential contractors on a practice and project basis. He has 18 years of experience in claims and claims management specializing in excess and primary liability for construction risks and most recently served as the Vice President of Claims overseeing NY construction claims for another Berkley company.
